Yesterday, I had a rock roll out from under my feet in knee deep water. I landed hard enough on another rock on my left shin to tear a little hole in my waders. I wasn't initially sure the tear went the whole way through but felt the water seeping in soon enough.

I dried them out overnight with plans to aquaseal them and wear an older, slightly leaky pair today. Then I thought about what was in my fly tying box. I bought a three pack of UV resin (Thick, Thin, and "Powerflex"). I made the repair with the Powerflex resin. It seems to have worked very well. I'm not actually sure you'd be able to tell the difference between it and aquaseal. We'll see how it holds up but I'd say it is a viable option for essentially instant repairs.

Somebody, I can’t remember who, use to sell a UV resin wader repair bottle. Not sure if it’s still out there. I’m sure any flexible UV would work.

I have a tube of Loon uv wader repair and it looks a lot like my tube of uv knot sense.
