Upper Pine Creek smallmouth

I've fished for smallies on Pine below Waterville and done well, as the creek is loaded with them there. But how about Upper Pine above the gorge between like Ansonia and Galeton? I was thinking of hitting it later in the month and I don't want to be targeting trout at the height of summer.

Not sure about that far upstream, but I have had excellent smallmouth fishing between Cedar and Slate. Quite a few in the 16 to 18" range. Good luck.

Lots of smallies up here, and the trout are doing well water temps have been in the 60's
