Posting photos

Whenever I try to post a photo, even within the size limitations, I get this message "XOOPS_URL is not included in your REFERER".

Any help will be most appreciated. Thanks.

We have a whole thread on posting photos here.

Generally the issue is that they are the wrong format, too large in Kbytes or too big in pixels.

Look over the thread and try something small to test here.

Okay, I will do that. I also took the advice of another member and opened an Imgur account.

The site is not well suited to post large images. Other sites like Imgur and I use Flickr to embed the images to here.

Basically, the images reside on the host site and are then displayed here with some code. Again typically called embedded code you would get from the hosting site. It is like a link, but instead of redirecting your to the pictures, the images are directed and displayed here.

Ha ha! Yeah but now I am trying over and over and cannot load even that same exact pic. I just can't get it to work consistently.
