Invasive Species Are Threatening the Quality of New York’s Tap Water

Water fleas are nasty critters. They accumulate on monofilament, then collect on the tip eyelet and make it hard to retrieve your line.
They don’t seem to stick to braid or wire as well, so I don’t get them as much in dipsey rods, but certain times of the year they can be pretty bad on the mono rigger rods.
