I also attached a video on what a trout sees during a hatch (yow!.....bug soup). It's not hard to see that trying to get a trout to hit your fly is a challenge.

I have thought at times during a big hatch it is remarkable that a trout can find my fly. Especially since I can't see a lot of the time.
