Awesome! I am looking to get out this evening to check out how the Swatara now thstits fishable. Tomorrow or Monday night I wanna hit Manada to see how that's fishing now that its calmed down.

So 3 of us hit the swatty hard last night. Only got 1 panfish. I am deeply concerned that all the stocked fish didn't survive the floods of late. Tons of bait fish, but nothing that even gave a hint that PFBC had stocked that stream. Not entirely sure where my tax dollars and trout stamp money went in that regard. I at least expected to see some fish on the walk out while spotting. Nope. Nothing but spiders and 1 lonely northern hogsucker.

Ill have to hit up the breeches tonight and see if there is any better luck there. 🤷‍♂️

What stretch are you referring to?

What stretch are you referring to?

The swatara is not stocked with trout. Are you referring to the little swatara? If so, I would t expect there to be many trout left in the stream this time of year.

Dear Board,

Just a heads up but I live 5 miles down Rte 443 from Manada Creek. We are currently getting a turd-floating rain now so this evening might be iffy. The creek was a little dingy, not bad or brown when I drove by it a half hour ago. We'll see what this round of rain does.

I meant it’s not an approved trout water or stocked trout water by the PFBC as suggested by the OP.
