Does anyone have any experience with fishing Hardy’s? I’ve been looking at getting a longer rod and found one I like but trying to match a reel to it and want to make sure I go with the right choice. I can’t reach the retailer until Monday and their stock is low on it

Yes I did thanks for sharing. It was helpful too, it answered the question I had. I’ve never fished something that light so I am hesitant. I think i’m going to hold off on it for now thanks again for sharing

As a reflection, I am believing that the requirements for a Euro rod aren't nearly as tough as a conventional fly rod. It has to be light because it's long and you have to hold it out, it has to be flexible but not floppy and....... uh. It's a nymph rod, ok? The fly 'poles' of the 18th century were like 16 foot long segmented beams of bamboo. Maybe we'll see the same thing with Euro. Hold'em behind your back for support...
