The fishing has been terrible in the "late, great" Susquehanna! Way too shallow and full of snotgrass. Only 5% of what it used to be ten years ago......... maybe 2%!
Even a "master" flyrodder, like me cannot get the >100 days I used to have on the river. But I can still catch a few smallmouth bass.

Fredrick, I got your message....... next year we'll hookup and catch some smallies with a fly rod. Lots of changes for this guy, s**t happens!! What can I say? Way too busy to go fishing with you.
I haven't been out that much lately..... but a flyrod is still the best way to catch fish in the Susquehanna!!
Still some smallmouth and lots of chubs..... I caught 9 smallmouth and 14 chubs today! ...... what could be better than that?
