"Frontplaters"

Realistically, I don't want to see anyone out there- front plates are just an easy target for playful (and sometimes not so playful!) ire.

There are a couple prominent YouTube "stars of their own show" that drift in from out of state to content farm and name drop our already over-pressured waterways but yet remain mysterioso regarding ones back on their home turf (one in particular has an affinity for cigars and has become chummy with some bigger names in FF of late than I'd expect a YouTuber to manage). Someday I hope to personally express my gratitude to all the publicity he's brought to one specific river in the form of some loud splashy rocks.

Lack of front plates not a problem on thes end of the state.
I think it it a money grab as the toll system works with rear license plates the PASP/PennDOT needs to enforce the no covering rear plates and replace the plates that are unreadable.
Probably a problem in Southeast Pa but they manifest their own problems down there.

If you see my NY truck streamside tomorrow go ahead and leave some flies in the bed, they'll be much appreciated

They only bother me when they out number me! One day on Penns 2 years ago I pulled in the parking lot and 10 cars were there. 7 of them were out of staters!

Would you seriously do this?

I get p*ssed! I leave NJ to get away from those people, I don't want to see them out of state too!

Seriously though, it doesn't bother me, come to my state, buy an out of state license, fish a few days, be cool. It only bothers me when people trash a place or violate the rules, like swimming. Those folks can stay home but of course many are, I have the same issues at home that Bam has, except they are front platers from NY or eastern NJ.

I just got back from a work trip to Onondaga, NY. I ended up buying a NY license and fishing NineMile and Skanteales creeks. The people I met couldn't have been nicer and gave me no issues as an out of stater. Same thing when I went out to dinner or to the bars in Syracuse, everyone was uber friendly. That changed when I came down into the Fingerlakes, much more like NJ attitudes there.
Didn’t fish Chit!? How were the flows on 9? Butternut? Probably some of my favorite waters.

I live in SW Pa….. it’s not exactly a trout fishing destination. But, I don’t have an issue with them if they are respectful human beings….I would rather receive $$$$ from MD, VA, NJ, or NY than give it to them.
