I have a nice 10’ 4wt I built on a hook & hackle xi blank . Single foot guides , carbon fiber grip and fighting butt . Used one season. Thing is a sweet all around nymphing rod from euro to tight line indicator, will also throw dries and dry dropper set-ups well . Great rod for someone looking to get into a 10’ rod cheap . Asking $80.00 plus shipping. Rod and sock only no tube .

Nice rod. Nice price. Do you have any other 10' 4wts? Is this rod heavier?

Is that carbon fiber grip "grippy" like a golf club?

Also, what brand guides did you use?

I do not have any other 10’ 4wts to compare it to .
I have never used a golf club with a carbon grip . The grip on the rod is a carbon weave and does have a texture . That is one of the reason I like carbon grips .
The guides are Hook & Hackle brand black single foot .
