When it warms up this summer, I'd like to try bass on the fly...

Since there's no farm ponds that I can locate, what about the Lehigh Canal (from the bank), or is there parts of the Lehigh River which don't require an expert wader to hit up for smallies?

Head east to the Big D and chase some smallies. That's where I spend most of the hot months fishing.

I found this:

Link

No idea why the chicago tribune is hosting it.

I tried that link but it comes up as "page not found".

Oh, my bad. There are commas in the link. I'll edit it so you can try again. You could also paste the whole link.

Thanks, it's working now. That is odd that it's on the Chicago-Tribune site.

Any particular place you start at? You're wading, or is this from the bank?

I'm not the most adept wader, which is why I'm concerned about hitting the Delaware and Lehigh rivers, which in the latter case I understand can be tough to wade.
