I looking to get upgrade my 8 weight bass bug line. Any recommendations?

What are you using now? I'd go with good old Cortland but some might not consider that an upgrade.

I currently have a Clouser fly line.

How much are you looking to spend ?

I have casted allot of bass lines the best lines for me have been any sci anglers bass lines or airflo bass/musky line with the airflo being the most durable for me so far . Just bought a triangle taper bass line looking forward to trying it this spring .

For largemouth and pike, I've fished the low end (

Fredrick,

I'm willing to spend up to $100.

I'd go with either of these ones , sci anglers has new bass bug line out I'm sure it would be a good one but out of your price range.

Cortland Fairplay. Cheap and works just fine if a floating line is all that you need. A new line isn't going to help cast anything nearly as well as a good double haul.

Thanks for the info on bass bug lines. Much appreciated.
