Autocomplete When Writing a Post

Somehow I must have turned on autocomplete or autocorrect.

How do you turn that off?

This is likely a setting on your phone (?) that's been changed rather than on the site specifically.

I'm on my laptop. But I think you're correct that it's not a feature of this website.

Because I noticed the same thing happening on another web forum.

I think it's probably due to a recent automatic "upgrade" of the Microsoft Edge browser.

Autocomplete is a function of your OS and or web browsers. Most of them provide this as a feature in some manner.

I get auto-completed texts from the wife all the time. I usually ask if she's having a stroke when I reply.

I find myself 😳 being pleasantly surprised when it kicks in and its actually correct!
