And my runner up. Not an exceptional fish, but was cool to get it in a Hudson River trib while fishing for smallies in October...

So, I know lake runners have an asterisk but I will probably never catch a better brown in my life. 30" and 17" at the shoulder. Highlight of 2020 if I'm being honest.

This one may not compare to some of the others finding their way onto this thread but it was the biggest small stream native brown I put in the net this year.

The pic goes all the way back to August so it's a little fuzzy . . . I can't remember if it was 35" or 36" :-D

Had a pretty decent year for big small stream Browns this year. I think I had 5 or 6 that went into the upper teens. I’d say a normal year for me is maybe 1 or 2 of those caliper fish from small streams. This one wasn’t the biggest, but the Fall colors made it the best one of the year in my mind.

That’s an awesome fish Ryan. Looks like the fish MFC used for the pattern on their fly boxes. Congrats.

Had noticed you not posting as much, glad you were able to get out and got into a good one. We still gotta fish sometime here.

I usually do a top 10 so here it is. If I had to pick one though it would probably be that giant brookie.

I'm guessing post #18 was the hardest pulling fish so far
