PFBC Strategic Planning 2009
Published by Dave Kile [dkile] on 2008/12/23 (674 reads)
Strategic planning creates an important opportunity for an organization to regroup and spend time critically thinking about the past, present and especially the future. The time is right for the PFBC to begin looking to the future and develop its next strategic plan. The strategic planning process provides an opportunity for all voices to be heard to help shape the future of the agency. All PFBC staff, Commissioners, our partners and stakeholders play an important role in developing the agency’s new strategic plan over the next 12 months. Your input is important to me and the future of the agency so I encourage you to participate in this short on-line or hardcopy survey. Although this survey is optional, please consider that your input is a critical component of the strategic planning process.
To complete the anonymous on-line survey, please click on the following link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=tlEY8MxNKqnvWDnjapsZgA_3d_3d . At the end of the survey, click “DONE” to electronically submit your responses.
Those who do not have Internet access or prefer not to use the electronic version may complete a hardcopy survey (attached). Hardcopy surveys are also anonymous and must be returned to Laurel Anders, PFBC, P.O. Box 67000, Harrisburg, PA 17106-7000. The survey (both on-line and hardcopy) will be open through January 9, 2009. If you wish to take the survey, please do so by the deadline. If you have any technical difficulties or require assistance to complete this survey, please contact Laurel Anders at landers@state.pa.us or 717-705-7812.
In late January and early February, our Commissioners and 22-member Strategic Planning Steering Team will gather for work sessions to review staff and stakeholder input that has been collected through this survey to begin the planning process.
Concerns and questions should be directed to Laurel Anders who will be coordinating the strategic planning process. The agency’s existing strategic plan (developed and adopted in 2004-05) can be found on our website at: http://www.fish.state.pa.us/stplan.pdf.
Thank you for being a part of this process and working together to move the agency forward.
Best regards,
Doug
