I'll be up in Waverly, NY for a weekend family reunion later this month and was thinking maybe I'd sneak away for a few hours on a stream. Seems from the map that the Towanda is the closest trout water and I was hoping you might be able to offer some information. If not on this stream maybe you have other suggestions to try out? PM me if you would like to keep your comments private - I'm only passing through so won't croud your favorite spot for more than a couple hours! Thanks.

The North Branch Susquehanna is nearby with excellent bass fishing.

i know a decent spot if you don't mind wading in sayre, pa.
right across the border from waverly.. it's literally a 2 minute drive from my house or a 20 minute walk from my house.... pm me if you want more info

The trout creeks are NOT fishing well right now. A few of the Class A streams you might find a willing trout.
A have to agree with fishidiot or anokpeas. Fish the Suskie for bass. It's stellar!

sugar creek and towanda creek got crap dumped in them by the frackin' gas holes so i wouldn't eat out of there.
