This was at the upper end of the special reg section just below Jennings Randolph tailrace last month - walked in. I'm not even sure if this section is accessible to boats and, in any event, the water is pretty fast and would require a whitewater kayak. For me to attempt this section in one of my sea kayaks might make for a good skit on America's Funniest Home Videos. :) Fishidiot |

This photo is deceptive as it was taken with a time delay on my camera, which I placed on a boulder in the river. Most of the river cannot be seen in the photo. North Branch of the Potomac is a large river comparable in size to the Yough. FI |
