Rainbow from the same outing. Didn't measure this one. I believe it is probably around 8-9 inches. The stocked rainbows fight like tigers in the West Branch. The abundant stocked brookies are much less aggressive. Here's a surprise: creek chub, big ones. I know getting excited about minnows is a bit lame, but the chub in the West Branch are big and they actually jump very high when being landed. I'll post a picture of one at some point, most exceed 6" and are very lively! Very simple thread nymphs bring these guys in.
