![]() Great fish and pic - so the north branch fish are wild? I never knew that. Wild rainbows are great fighters, I might have to make a trip up there. Is it wadeable anywhere?

![]() The North Branch has a mixed population of wild trout and stocked fish, both fresh stockers and fish that hold over for many years. The fisheries biologists have been acknowledging wild reproduction of rainbows in there for several years, there is no mistaking the difference both by looks and fight between the wild and stocked north branch bows. This fish launched about 3 feet in the air and torn my buddy all over the large pool. There is plenty of wade water on the N Branch... About 11 miles worth from Barnum WV to Westernport Md
