Beautiful fish from the stream below. Pretty nice size fish for the stream as well.

Pretty little brookie. I love dabbling in those little streams sometimes. The brookies can be ferocious when hitting a fly and they're so pretty.

Definitely! Its a nice break from the picky fish in larger streams.

Brownie101, you'll like this...after a recent brookie outing my roommate told me that soon I'll be tying imitations of leaf matter to catch nymphs.

Nice fish for a stream that size.

That is beautiful little brookie. Thanks for sharing you photos, you always have some really good ones. The par marks are so pronounced as well as the spots and the smaller par markings extending down from the back near the tail are really cool. They are all so unique, good stuff!

Thanks dc! If there was one word to describe native brookies its unique. I love the par markings on smaller trout, especially brookies.

Haha there certainly are some big ones up here too I tend to get distracted by the big browns tho. Not to mention the blondes...ok should probably stay on topic.

I actually will be home this weekend but won't have time to fish. If you get out on any of our local streams I'm curious what the water temp is up to.

Well that sounds like a pretty good duo to me I will fish one of them within the next week or so, not sure which. We got some rain today which was good. I'll let you know.
