I thought the PFBC stopped stocking Tiger trout?

 Re: holiday catch
My first impression is it is a wild fish. It is caught from a class A water. It made my holiday that bit nicer regardless it is wild or stocked! Happy holiday.

I wasn't trying to discredit your accomplishment, it's a nice fish, but unfortunately I've caught stocked fish in Class A water in the past.

 Re: holiday catch
Other than its fairly large size, there's nothing in that photo that screams stocked to me. All comes down to location...don't tell us where, but if the stream has wild Brooks and Browns in it and isn't stocked (which I'd assume is the case if it's a class A), I'd call it wild too and sleep happily at night.

Very nice fish, either way. Most of us have never caught one period.

Yeah definitely on the fence on this one. Normally, that size screams a stocker but that is a pretty clean fish. The only thing I notice is its upper jaw seems a little deformed. If it is wild, certainly a fish of a lifetime. The only wild tiger I caught was 2/3 that size.
