I enjoyed the outing too and your cut on snow birds lol! That rainbow is simply gorgeous. The white tipped fins are perfect. I've caught several yoy rainbows in the stream, more in the woods. But, I've never seen rainbow redds. That brown was gorgeous too, but I shouldn't have Bill Dance'd him HAHA! I still can't get that wheel barrel redds out of my head. That brown must be gigantic. I saw two other guys fishing on Sunday. You're spot on about the heavy pressure. I think the pressure will die down after spring stocking.

I dunno man that is a really nice looking rainbow. Wild or not its old for sure. Simply stunning.
Catching a good one like that is a 10 any day on the stream. |
