Caugt this guy on a nameless limestoner. She ate a size 20 olive midge larva. Shes not a steelhead!

Yeah I couldn't believe it either! She was aggressivly feeding from the live midges and bwo's on the top to the nymphs down below. I had hooked one other bow a little smaller than this one, but he broke me off :(. On a 5 wt rod, and 5x tippet, I really didn't think she was gonna make it to the net. She was about 29 inches long and 11 to 13 lbs. Most memorable fish yet

i didnt catch this fish in an erie trib, or a trib to any lake. this fish was under a log jam, with a few other large fish too. just trying to say that these large bows do exist, not in steelhead form just like this one!
