Thats a beautiful area. Ive been camping there, (leonard harrison side) and did some fishing, though I did catch any. Very cool place

That' s great view. I have been in the area may times in the last 35 years. The fishing can be spotty on the Runs depending on the stress conditions caused by low water and high temperatures. What time of the year was the picture taken?

The picture was taken in late October before I went down it in my canoe. It is a cool vantage point. I remember looking down and seeing all these rapids and thinking, wow I must be nuts! It was a frigid, windy, rainy late October solo trip on a class ll & lll Pine Creek. I woke up to find all my damp camping gear covered by a deep frost, including my frozen boots and socks next to a spent campfire.
