This half acre pond is located deep in the laurel highlands on what appears to be an old homestead. An old pump house feeds the pond with cold spring water and there are literally hundreds of brook trout in its crystal clear waters

That's an incredible find! I know of an even larger pond in my home area that is kept cold by a bottom release from a quarry lake. It has some really nice wild browns. Kind of an urbanized version of your pond. See any monster natives in there?

i did, there were very few less than 7" and the max was probably around 11- 12" they were the most colorful iv ever seen
