Believe it or not, these are natives. There were 13 (that I counted) of them in this pool where a trib comes in. They were from roughly 9"- 13". Unusual, considering their size! I did manage one 9" before they spooked.

This is really common this time of year.
There is probably a spring seepage just up stream.

For some reason I always catch the smallest one when they are like this and then they spook.
