14" Brookie caught on a central pa limestone stream, not sure if it is stream bred, stream is not stocked. any ideas?

Wow, nice brookies in both pictures! They certainly don't look like state-stocked trout from this year. If these are from Central PA and not South Central PA, could you PM me with the name of the stream? CHances are I'm familiar with it and I might be able to help with the question about them being stocked or wild.

If it's from where I think it is - it could very well be wild but also perhaps a hatchery escapee or a migrant from a stocked stream into which the stream in question flows into. Hard call. It's a beautiful fish regardless.

Very nice sized brookie fyfly.. To me, it looks like a stocked fish. Maybe it made its way from a stocked stream, or someone is illegaly stocking your stream that you dont know about.. Either way, good catch
