| nice 16-17 in smallie I caught yesterday while drifting down the schuylkill with Austin and Zach. caught him on a 9 1/2 ft. 7 weight fly rod. with 10x tippet and a size 4 foam popper I made. casting along the banks to give it a frog imitation and this guy decided to show up (: biggest smallie I've ever caught...so far! lol |

| I've got a good fishing buddy that I've been doing a lot of spin casting with lately. He decided that he wanted to learn a little about fly fishing. Here is his first wild brown, caught on a parachute Hopper. I thought it was exciting catching my first trout, it is even more exciting watching someone else catch their's. |

| A pretty section of the east branch of the brandywine. I had never fished here before but it looks like great trout water. I was targeting smallies in the slow pools and caught a few, will have to return to this area in the spring and see if there are any trout around. |

| On a day that I took a very nasty spill in which I sprained my ankle and broke my fly box and reel...I did manage to hit a couple nice rainbows on Hoppers...I guess it wasn't that bad of a day. This one was just under 14 inches and put up some great jumps. |
