I fished the FFO section at Allenberry Playhouse this morning. Air temp was 60degrees. Water was normal flow and slightly less clear than most of the freestones I've been hitting lately. Still very clear.

I fished only for about 1.5 hrs from 10-11:30ish. Lots of midges in air and on water. I grabbed a few and they were really small and olive bodies. A couple tan caddis were in the air and an insignificant number of cream colored mayflies. Only a couple of rises seen. No dry flies were used.

I fished a double nymph rig on 7x tippet. Caught one 13 inch brown on a gray cressbug. Also fished a size 12 olive hares ear with no hits.

I wish I could have stayed to fish a bit longer but family commitments were my priority. Not many folks on the project water this morning but it was a beautiful morning before the winds picked up. Lots of people and kids fishing the open water at the end of Criswell Rd.
