Yellow Breeches, Cumberland County, 2/15/12

Hit the Yellow Breeches between 12pm - 5pm. Landed 3 Brookies and 1 fairly large, acrobatic Rainbow. Missed another 4 or 5. I was using a #14 bead-headed pheasant tail nymph (caught all 3 Brookies on this) and a #18 yellow spider as a dropper (caught the large Rainbow on it). The water was running about average. I saw
a lot of insect activity. Many, many small black flying bugs ( I don't know what they were), some small stone flies and a saw some baitfish, too. On the main stem, the trout were rising from about 2pm - 4pm.
