I fished the Yellow Breeches today from 3pm until 6pm. The water is perfect. Low and crystal clear, I didn't have a thermometer so it was about the same as FI's temp yesterday.
I also saw lots of midges. They looked like they had a blue wing, so maybe BWO's about size 28? I caught two browns, two bows, one creek chub, and a small brook trout. Someone else posted a brookie yesterday....... but I thought he was mistaken! I'm so glad they put some brook trout in the YB, my fave trout. I started with a micro bugger, but soon changed to a tandem of two black Zebra midges size 20 under a strike indicator. Again, I used a 3wt Helios. Wow!! what a wonderful super lite performance rod! When I posted my last report, I used photobucket and a member here e-mailed me about a pic number 100 I took last year? I went to photobucket and changed things and now I can't post a single pic!! LOL Maybe it's God's way to show me not to spot burn? Fishidiot, could you please give me a couple "simple" instructions of how to post pix on this site without using photobucket? Another wonderful day fly fishing. My waders still leak, so I just ordered some new ones..... and a wading staff. Cold water and wet feet isn't comfy for mid Feb!! and I'm so tired of slipping on the frozen muddy banks! Longrods Forever, 1 wt

I never use Photobucket when I post up pictures here. When you have written your post go down to where it says "browse" and click on that and I open my "Pictures" folder on my computer, highlight the pic I want to post and click "Open" and it automatically uploads to the PA fly fish site as long as it does not exceed the size limit. If it does then you have to edit it to the lesser size.

What Wbranch said.
I always downsize my pictures before trying to upload them on the site. I usually use "weblog" size and this usually works fine.

1WT,
The "edit" button is only viewable when you're logged in and only for about six hours after you post. After that, you can't edit your posts. You did everything right to post a photo except you forgot to hit "upload" Here's the click sequence again: 1. "Browse" 2. (Select) then "Open" 3. "Upload" 4. "Submit" If it posts your words but no photo appears, your pic is probably still too large.

I edit and down size all of my photos so they are only 300-400 kbs. some people may do this by changing the picture quality, I simply change the size from whatever it is, ex; 4,000 x 3,000 down too around 600 x 400 in pixel size. Then I give the photo file a name such as "nice tributary brown 2" or whatever rather than leave it as a numerical file name. That way it goes to the bottom in windows photo where all my other named photos reside.
That's the way to do it, the photo's cannot be over 1000 kbs or is it 500? to be uploaded to the site. I used Canon Digital Pro editing to do this, once you get the downsizing figured you're good, don't forget to hit the upload button for each photo.

Good to hear you again, Leaky. I would never do that! all my pix are high def and I watch a slide show from time to time. All my pix on photobucket are gone now. I even checked with tech support? I still can't post on this site, but no big deal. All my past photos are gone, even my first at Conewago. My old site lost all the pix from the past four years! LOL I still have all my original ten thousand on my Mac and they are full screen 14mp. I can send on e-mail or g-mail with no problem at all. I also have ten years back on disk...... and they still work great. I was getting tired of posting pix anyway. When the Fishidiot posted pix of the winter stoneflies, they were so small I couldn't see them without a magnifying glass! I clicked, but no big pix appeared! I went to YouTube for the stone tie. This site only allows tiny pix and are too much trouble for me to post! I'll still text sometimes, but I think this is God's way of helping me not to spotburn! LOL Tight Lines

Also you can not post pics when using the fast reply, Use the reply button from the last post. I resize then use the browse feature right from my own computer.
