No I did not, I got one from an eagles fan. Who seemed more interested in catching a fish then being polite.

One from last week. Probably the nicest fish I've taken at Valley this year.

You can see the size 24 midge it took its his mouth.

Hey guys,
New to the site but not to fly fishing...what flies are you tossing at the valley this week?

FishinPA,
Welcome to PAFF.
Although it's not required, most folks who submit reports here in the Stream Reports forum will describe what flies, generally, they were using. If you check posts #13-16 and #20, they mention flies used recently on this stream.

Thanks, sroach. Probably about 11-12".

Pulled two out of the same riffle/run that were almost identical with only one cast in between. I don't think I've ever pulled two fish that size out of the same piece of water on Valley.

Everything else that day was the usual 6-7 inchers with a couple fingerlings mixed in.

I'm new to the blog here, but I have also been seeing a lot of fat fish on Valley in the past few weeks. Fished Tues Thurs and Friday and got a lot of nice, fat fish. Most on a #22 midge. The big one (in the pic) came in around 16" and fought very hard. Got him right back in to fight another day. Always awesome to see big fish in Valley.

Also got a few on BWO's...always fun.

That's a VC monster! Nicely done. I, for one, would not object to a greater number of fat trout in that particular stream.
