Oh, it was pickering. I was confused for a second about that bow. No way he would come from valley.
I dig the skate videos, btw. It's been a long time since I've watched any of that stuff. I wonder if I still have menikmati on vhs around here.

Valley is pretty much the only place I fish. Every once in a while I get to some brookie streams or to Ridley but that is about it. I have had great luck once I found out the secret to fishing Valley Creek....its stealth. Biggest I caught there were two 16" fish, both amazing browns. The first one I caught dead drifting a wooly bugger and I actually thought I was caught on the bottom. Got the other one under the turnpike bridge with a 22 Grifiths gnat and the damn fish fought me for ten minutes. I have seen two 20+" fish in there, way up past the turnpike by a a mile or two. Hopefully I will get out this weekend.
AFISHINADO Great shots, I love those pools. Those two are loaded. MUTE Do you still skate regularly? Are you any good? Use to skate alot when I was younger, still have my board but don't get out much.

I run the TKP a lot, I have stopped at the bridge that goes over the creek to check it out. Was thinking about parking on the eastbound side and doing some fishing. Looks like I would be able to get to creek pretty easly.
Any one else ever park there? Thanks, Buffalo

Mute, I hooked a brown about that size down right after the stream splits into 2. He was a hog, I thought i was snagged but then my line started peelin off the reel and i fought him for 3 minutes and got him to come up and it was a huge brown. Didn't land him though but hooked on a brown wooly bugger with a ton of flash in it.

paul, just keep in mind this is a tough stream.
i break it into to parts washington's headquarters up to falls. laffayettes headquarters up to little valley. it always seems strange to me the apparent lack of fish from little valley downstream to that sharp turn in the creek. i caught a fourteen incher in little valley once but have never even seen a trout in the area i describe.BUT,it looks like a place with the deep holes and undercuts that would produce big browns.

Little Valley has some really nice Browns in it. The problem is though they're in a section of the creek that is on private property. I know becuase the stream runs through the campus of my place of employment and I walk the stream and see some nice fish. I'm concerned about the worthington steel construction going on though, I just hope they can protect the stream after the construction is done.
