Started off below the dam and caught some crappie and a decent white bass. Then went farther downstream and caught and few smallies, and even 4 very hard fighting, acrobatic, rainbow trout! Today was one of my better trout days there and I wasn't even targeting them. All of them hit small white streamers.

Went there Sunday also and only had on 2 bass, and only 3 today. Usually average about 10 there and often better. I believe the bass fishing wasn't as good because of the water level rising and lowering? On Sunday they litterally opened up one gate as I was driving to the river, and today they closed one gate on my way there. Oh well, still had fun.

Dang - what's an honest fisherman to do? You go on down to the stream to catch some of those fine native bass.....and yuh can't keep those pesky trash fish off your hook.

How 'bout posting some bass pics instead of the trash fish.

bikerfish, no, well not yet at least. I'm still in high school but getting there lol.

Fishidiot, the bass Sunday came off and all 3 of the ones today escaped before I could get the camera ready....figures. That always happens to the good fish haha. I was dissapointed though when I found a non-native hatchery pellethead at the end of my line instead of a wild native smallmouth bass LOL.

Here's one from Sat.

My last day of school was last Wednesday, so now I can fish during the week. And when school was in I still went after school to the local lake
