CCAS was out and about this past holiday weekend fishing several limestone creeks of the Lehigh Valley. We managed to catch 5 nice browns on streamers at our first location, where fishing pressure was very light. After several hours we mobilized to location 2 and it seemed that every fisherman in Lehigh County was there due to the warm weather. We hung out for about 30 minutes caught 3 small trout... and retreated back home to share the rest of the day with our loved ones. Just like PAFF we are on facebook as well! Like us at

I'm in Allentown until tuesday. Might head down to the old heratige section monday afternoon. Hoping the temp might break freezing. Worth it?

Of course. I actually thought about heading down tomorrow as well. I have student teaching till one, then might shoot over to meet a friend. Only problem in my 4 1/2 yr old will be with, but he is content hanging out with me while I fish.

Yea I will have him in a float tube lol j/k I am not real sure if I will be at the L.L., Monocacy, Saucon, or up my way at the Pohopoco. Friend coming up from philly that wants to fish.

Whatever, I was sort of kidding. Had I seen a guy with a 4 y/o I would have asked though...I have to get my license and everything. I would only pop out for an hour or so..

Good luck! With the rain and the warm temperature run off things should be interesting throughout SEPA. It will be hit or miss - if the runoff doesn't get outta control it could be real good!
