My son and I were also there on the Madison from 6/26 to 7/5 so may have bumped into you guys at some point! That section below the dam was incredible and we caught some great fish! We did find a number of people there at times so we just went elsewhere. That stretch having the more ideal conditions at that point in time would explain the sometimes "crowdwd" conditions. Can't wait until next year for sure! Have not spent a whole lot of time in Bozeman yet - we just fly into there and stay over night and drive to the cabin the next morning. But it does seem like a cool little town. Bozeman Ale House was great! Oh and all the other great beer out there! Another reason to love Montana!

Can't argue that MT is the place to be! All the people are cool an there is no where else i would rarher fish!
