florida peacock bass

Anyone ever fish for peacock bass in Florida. I am wanting to do it within the next year. More than likely will use a guide for a day or two so if anyone has done it and has a recommendation, please tell me.

I don't know if you need a guide, I've been told they're all over Florida, I'm not sure what that means though. I think you just need to know where to go and you have to have a boat.

Which is why I want a guide. I will not be bringing a boat, and I would rather spend my time fishing rather than searching for areas to fish. I want to catch some while fly fishing and going to Florida will be significantly cheaper than headed further south.

I have no direct experience but from what I've read they are only in the canals around Miami...there probably are some wading spots but from what I gathered they were pretty hood

Just stay on him if you can't get a response. I didn't manage anytime in the canals.
