Got an unexpected invitation to go smallie fishing today with Dotman. I jumped at the chance. Another PAFF guy that was a blast to fish with. He put me in his best spots and I was able to get quite a few smallies most in the 5 to 6 inch range but I did get 2 rather nice ones too, maybe 10 and 12 inch.
Thanks to Dotman, I even have photo evidence however I guess the photos are too big to load on here so you'll have to take my word for it. I'm still a trout snob but less of one than I was yesterday!  Look forward to my next outing!

Fox,
My pleasure meeting and fishing with you. Glad I put you on fish and they got progressively bigger for you. He asked a lot of questions about how to and listened well. Fox asks if he should fish the shadows for bass and I said don't pass it up and his biggest fish came from the depth of the shadows. I do think I spoiled him by giving him my 4 wt boo to fish. He has a new desire that Mrs. Fox may not like. Oh yeah, I do have to break that to Mrs. Fox although I do have 300 crisp 1 dollar bills to start my fund!
