Got out for the first time today, to one of my favorite warmwater lakes. the water was still cool, in the low 50's, but I still hooked up with quite a few perch (surprised me a little as I've never seen perch in this lake, and have managed very few on flies), that were hugging to the cattails along the shoreline, as well as two larger bluegill on my indicator fly. hope this is a good indicator of the year to come...

I've been fishing a local pond and have caught a few large mouth already. And a ton of blue gill.
Mostly on San Juan worms, and poppers.
