This is just an easy thing you can do to reduce the number of twists you have to do while finding the "locked" spot on a spindle of split shot. As, in most cases, a picture is worth a 1000... I paint the circle of the lock spot where the round box is "locked"". I used the same paint I use for highlighting beetles and popper heads.

Anyway, it's just something that makes it easier and faster on the stream.....

Hope this helps.

?? is there a picture? don't have a clue what you are talking about.

I just use 1/4" nuts and a treble hooks.

Make sure they are lock nuts?

Sounds about right. I've been using lock washers the whole time and didn't know I was wrong.

With all due respect, what on earth are you talking about?

Just a "shot" in the dark but he might be talking about those funky round split shot dispensers??? Not sure. Mine rattled too much in my chest pack so I just dumped all of um on the shelf and they now live down in the hinge of the pack. Maybe I ought to paint an arrow to where their at? Dude, we're really beat'n this guy up pretty bad here..... Sorry, can't help it. Smart *** city round here.

Sorry, I forgot to click upload. I choose the file then thought I was done sorry for the confusion.
