I'll trade you a roll of dacron for 3 rolls of charmin triple rolls... yes that is 1 - 9

NewTyer you can get 12lb backing if its for your 2wt tribute rod...it was a 2wt correct?

Yellow backing will catch you some better looking fish, but not more fish.

Yes Yellow does catch more fish, just like a red engine block has 20% more power.

It's not about catching more fish or better looking fish, it is just my preference to have colored backing. I just don't like the white. And yes, it was for a 2wt rod, not that it matters.

My only point was that some folks put 12lb backing on ultralight set ups (such as 2wts) as opposed to 20lb.

Its a great looking rod.
