I trying to help a gentleman out with marketing / selling a massive stockpile of necks, saddles, wings, ect. Basically this guy has at least 5 containers of tanned birds measuring 3'x3'x3' containing HUNDREDS of saddles, necks, ect. Not only that, he has a crap ton of deer hides, beaver hides, mink hides, squirel hide without the tail bone, tanned ducks, wings of chickens and ducks, and even moles! It's quite unbelievable. He's a modern day Daniel Boone!
So, I'm hoping someone on here might be involved in the distribution of tying supplies. He DOES NOT want the feathers to go to beauty salons! I thought about trying to contact Whiting, but I figured I'd post here first to see if anyone local would be interested in this. I'm no expert in quality so I can't make any conclusions except that everything I saw was gorgeous. If you'd like to talk with him then send me a PM. And guys, I don't want someone who's interested in buying one or two. I wouldn't want to waste his time and yours. Midge

Perhaps if he loaded this up on a pickup truck and visited a fly shop he might be able to get wholesale value for much of it. Another option might be to consign the stuff to a business or fly shop that has a booth at a FFing show - they might be able to sell a good bit of it.
Honestly, it would seem to me that if he wants to sell the whole kit and kaboodle.... he'll need to itemize everything and put it on Ebay.
