Im new to the forum and don't know if anyone is up to it but I am looking for any variation or personal touch on flies or I will even take classic patterns. I have no skill on the vice and i am tired of buying cheap flies. I will send money out to tiers. I fish all of western PA but Oil Creek is my home water.

Theflystop.com good quality flies at a decent price. I tie all my own flies but dries. This is where I get my dry flies from.

If you sign up for sierratradingpost.com email list you can get some super deals on flies. Or try to find someone local who will tie up what you need.

Check out this site. I haven't used them but have heard from several sources they're pretty good. And for .39 a fly it's worth a try.

Ry, I thought you were in business with Richardson? He probably deserves a shout out for some of his unique patterns. Richardson Fly Company

You should talk to Mike whenever he decides to fly north again. He is as good a tier as anyone, has some unique/innovative patterns, and is really in tune with your local waters/bugs. Not cheap, but if you want something thats gonna work well on those picky June midgers in the flats pool...he is gonna be able to help you more than someone in Philly. If you don't want to go that route for whatever reason, then the guys at International Angler or Erie Ultimate could probably put together a custom tied selection for you. They all fish that water often enough to know whats up.

Wow, I'm one Philly guy that doesn't know how to take this! I always thought I could help.

oops. new guy typing too fast (or thinking too slow). No offense intended. just meant that the guy who lives on the stream (poster's homewater) and ties flies for a living could probly put together a custom selection better than folks who live 6 hrs away and maybe have never been over this way.
