Why does everyone show up with things I want when my wife off the dole? This is three in one week, and its only Tuesday.

For those of you who like a sweet, full flexing rod, the Superfine Trout Bums are awesome. I've got the 7'6" 1wt, and its a dream to fish with.

Got a 9' 6wt I strongly dislike, St Croix says "moderate fast" but I think they lied.

There's a 9' 8wt Teeny that's definatly fast, but I actually sorta used that for the ocean. I don't think I have a dedicated replacement for it.

I did see a couple of Sage rods that were 00 and 000. What the hell is that?

The Sage TXL rods actually come out as several weights heavier in the common cents test, and IIRC the lines also had grain weights that were heavier than people thought when they weighed them. THere is no AFTMA standard, so these guys can do what they want.

The SPL was a different series. No idea, but I know they're highly regarded.

I'm considering picking up a dancraft 00 blank.

hmm, the superfine's aren't exactly my cup of tea, but I don't have anything like that and I have a weird desire to own one.

I have a Sage FLI 9 ft 7 wt that I have no use for right now. It's not superfast, but it isn't slow either.
