This is a rod I bought from wbranch who built it. A very nice rod but I just don't use it much.

From his description:

9' 3 pc built on an East Fork blank, emerald green
spigot ferrules
H&H DLC (Diamond Like Carbide)snakes
Fuji SIC stripping guide
full wells grip
retractable fighting butt(unscrews/extends from reel seat)

There is a small scratch on the butt section.

I bought a Clear Creek tube for it. The tube alone cost over $40.

I can send pictures if necessary.

$100 local pick up. (I'm near Scranton)
I can ship it but its an odd size and would prefer not to.

Capt,

What are the makes & models? I'm interested in something to give to a beginner so I was thinking a moderate fast action

There is a mistake in my description which I only just noticed today. Its East Branch rod Co, not East Fork.

Anyway someone local may be interested. I'll post an update when I know.

Local sale off. Still available

Phil, I've never read anything bad about East Branch. It seems they had a quite a following. After the company went out of business people were still looking for the blanks to build on.

Was just making a joke...not putting the rod down

Any chance you trade for a 4 wt?

Not really interested in a 4 wt. I have 2 and I'll probably get rid of one.(A 9' TFO pro)

It would be for a beginner and I think a 5 wt is more appropriate. Plus I already have reel and line for a 5 wt.

But just for the hell of it, what make & model is it?

Phil,

I did some reading up (what could find) on these rods. The company went under around 2002 but they were very highly regarded. Actually kind of sought after and hard to find. Also, that 4 wt better not be a flight. You gave me a fli
