I finally got a copy of Bob Clouser's "Flyfishing for Smallmouth". I'm really enjoying it. Anyone else read it?

I got it, and loved it. The photography is amazing! I love the pictures of the baitfish.

It's the book I've left hints about for my B-day. Can't wait to get it. Did rather well with clouser minnows this year on trout and bass.

I have the book and read I think its nice and does have great photos . But I feel that the whole book is trying to sell his products and besides the baitfish part I thought it was to basic for me and geared more to the beginner .. I think that Tim Holscklag book is the best Smallie book that I have read to date so if you get some time so check it out heres a link to his website :-D http://www.smallmouthangler.com/html/books.html

Frederick,

Never saw that one. It does look good.

My only complaint about the Clouser Smallmouth book is the lack of fly tying recipes. But, since he just published a book of his patterns...

I consider Tim Holschlag's book the bible..................
