I just re-read this, and some people have been looking for books revolving around fishing that aren't strictly fishing books, and this is a good one. Ames's characters are certainly a counter-culture group, most whom you'd like to run into. I recommend this book highly. I think the title is about the catchiest one I know of that relates to fly-fishermen.
