I figure with all hatches coming weeks earlier this year the white fly would be no exception.... has anybody seen any yet?

I have seen white flies coming off the Delaware River in Bucks and Northampton counties.

hatches have been back to normal since june...the rains and cool weather we had then put things back on track.. yellow stones and caddis here..

I've heard thru the grapevine that they're just getting started on the Susky around Harrisburg...so sounds like they're on the usual schedule.

Actually a smattering of white flies are coming off the North Branch in Meshoppen. Not enough to get the fish remotely interested yet. However, I saw them coming off at around 7pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Saw a few last week on the lower Juniata - very sparse and not a fishable hatch yet.

Any day now.

I work at anvil in columbia near the lower susquehanna. At night they are buzzing around our parking light lights. I don't know if they are fishable on the river but one night there was a good amount of them.

White flies have been on the Susquehanna in the Wilkes-Barre area for almost 2 weeks. Several nights have been blizzards.

Solid hatch near Warren Pa last week, but the fish didn't seem to care. The fishing was hot leading up to the hatch, but as soon as the bugs started coming off the fish just stopped, and never started feeding again. We fished till midnight.

A decent hatch was coming off the Susky in Lewisburg last night. No real activity though on the top. This was my first time fishing the white flies though. When does the bass activity get going typically. Is it after dark? I fished through dusk, but before it got too dark to see. Only saw one top water hit, but flies were definitely on the water.
