My dads friend was fishing at our favorite stream and he caught this big fish. Can you tell me what kind of trout this is.

When I bought my first Hardy LRH in 1965 it cost me $25.00 and the spool cost a whopping $7.00. Back when I first fished the Beaverkill in 1965 even on a weekend you hardly saw more than a handful of other fly fishers.
