A big thanks to the guy's taking the time to put this past weekend together. A little cool out and high water didn't help, but learned a few things for sure. A personal thanks to Sylvaneous for taking the time to give me my first casting lessons. Hey PennKev, gonna have to get the name of that blank you built on at some point. Liked that alot.
Bruno, Bikerfish and PennKev, that waiter was sure working for that tip huh?
Thanks again guys. Good job all around!!

riverdog, if your talking about the glass 7'6" he had there, it's built on a FH Paddock "butterscotch" blank. I had one there as well, it was a 6'6". unfortunately, Fred doesn't offer those blanks anymore, wish he did, I'd buy more of them myself.
not sure what might be the equivalent that you could buy today, I'll give it some thought.

riverdog,

Yeah, it's pretty unlikely you'll see that exact blank available again. The good news is that Paddock changes his model lines pretty often and clears out the old blanks a few times a year it seems. I'd imagine his other blanks are just as good. Just keep an eye on the fiberglass rod forum and something will come up.
